SENIOR CITIZENS HOME HAIFA
WHO WE ARE
"And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you:
I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you."
"I was able to move to Ebenezer in May 2012.
I was so happy and felt myself younger and healthier. This is my home and I love it. Where else can you receive such love from the workers and attention, songs, and gifts from the visitors? From here, I will move only to my heavenly home."
Our goal is to enable Israeli citizens in their elderly years to have a place to call home in a believing environment that represents Christian and Biblical values. Because of Yeshua, our Home consists of both Jewish and Arab believers living joyfully together in Him!
Every day, inspectors from the health department, our suppliers, and many others are coming to Ebenezer. Often, they each ask the same question: "I notice something is different here... what is it that makes this home so peaceful?".
Over the years, the Ebenezer Home has been home to many different people. Each of them has a unique story which can make you laugh and cry, marveling at, and giving thanks to the Lord for all He has done in and thru them!
REMEMBER WHAT GOD HAS DONE
A book was written for our 40th anniversary (2016). It recounts the story of the creation and development of the Ebenezer Home to this day, as well as insights into the formation of the state of Israel. In addition, it is filled with emotionally moving, true-life stories, of some of our residents, which have been recorded. They all testify to God's faithfulness and grace, which is new every day.
For a small donation you can also get embroidered and knitted items, cards, baskets, art and much more... Made with love, to give away or to enjoy yourself!
1 SAMUEL 7:12
"Then Samuel took a stone, and set it between Mizpeh and Shen, and called the name of it Ebenezer, saying, Hitherto hath the LORD helped us."
The name "Ebenezer" bears witness to God's goodness, our faith in Him, and that He will continue to care for us in the future so that we can say this verse every single day.
How can we serve you?
