In June last year we rejoiced with one of our nurses' aides, Judith, when she got married to Alex, a very humble young man from her congregation. We'd never seen such a response from our residents as at their wedding reception. Both residents and staff wanted to bless the new couple from the depth of our hearts.
Not long ago Alex joined our Maintenance department.
One year later we are rejoicing with them again as they are expecting the birth of their first child next month. Before Judith had started her maternity leave, she came to say bye-bye for now to the Home. We are praying for safe delivery and for many more blessings as this family is entering a new phase in their lives.
Speaking for all of us, our manager said that it will be as it's written in 1Chronicles 17:27: " Now you have been pleased to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever in your sight; for you, Lord, have blessed it, and it will be blessed forever.”
Judith has been very loving and sacrificial in her work with our residents. We hope to see her rejoin the team in her time!
